Dr. Anna Schweikert completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Dayton, graduating magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Premedicine and Psychology. She earned her medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. Dr. Schweikert completed her family medicine residency and geriatric fellowship at the Christ Hospital/University of Cincinnati Medical College. She is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. Her areas of interest include preventative care, healthy lifestyle, caring for families, caring for older adults, and helping patients achieve their health goals. Dr. Schweikert has received several honors and awards for her leadership and care of patients. She received the Stagaman Award in 2016 for her enthusiasm and demonstration of compassion in the care of patients. She was also elected to the Gold Humanism Honor Society in 2015 to serve as a role model of the human connection in healthcare. Dr. Schweikert is passionate about service work locally and internationally, volunteering in a Cameroon medical clinic, providing healthcare in rural Guatemala, and contributing to the ProKids Young Professionals mission. She has also served in leadership roles for organizations such as the Urban Health Project and ProKids Young Professionals. When not treating patients, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their two daughters, jogging, watching football, and exploring Cincinnati restaurants.
