Augusta Rawlins-Rader, MD, is a Board-Certified Family Medicine doctor with The Christ Hospital Physicians - Primary Care in Fort Wright, KY. She treats patients of all ages and her areas of interest include behavioral health, preventative care, care coordination, chronic condition management, and trauma-informed care.
Dr. Rawlins-Rader believes in a collaborative approach to care where the physician's role is to diagnose, teach, and advise, but the patient should be empowered to share in the decision making. She is passionate about addressing healthcare inequities and provides full-spectrum care to all patient populations, including the underserved and LGBTQ+ populations. She provides a full range of reproductive and gynecological care tailored to the individualized needs of those across the entirety of the gender and sexuality spectrums and is comfortable with transitional hormone replacement.
Dr. Rawlins-Rader received a Bachelor of Arts in Women, Gender and Sexuality Studies from Miami University of Ohio, with a thematic sequence in Molecular Genetics. She received her medical degree as a Doctor of Allopathic Medicine from the University of Toledo College of Medicine. She completed her transitional year residency with ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital in Monroe, Michigan, and her family medicine residency with the University of Louisville Owensboro Health, in Owensboro, Kentucky. She worked extensively with underserved populations during both medical school and residency, which helped shape her philosophy towards patient care.
She is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and is a member of the Phi Beta Kappa honorary society, the American Medical Association, and the American Academy of Family Medicine.
In her free time, Dr. Rawlins-Rader enjoys writing and has a dream to one day publish a novel. She can often be found at art museums, libraries, coffee shops, the theater, and anime/comic conventions. She remains close to her parents, who live in the Cincinnati area.

Very good group of people

Good service
Great
She had good responses on my chart when it came to my labs. She walked in and said you look like an "easy patient". She did a quick assessment and was ready to send me on my way. She didn't thoroughly assess me and it was my first visit. She was very quick. [...] Diet, exercise, and life choices should be assessed. She should also not forget about mental health assessments. There is room for her to grow as a provider.
