Carly E. Nicholas, CNP

Carly is a Cincinnati native born and raised. She got her bachelor's degree in nursing from The Ohio State University. Go Buckeyes! She then moved back to Cincinnati, where she worked as an ER Nurse at The Christ Hospital for six years before obtaining her master's degree from Ohio University becoming a Nurse Practitioner. She worked for several years in retail health, which was an excellent way to work independently and think on her feet. Carly was thrilled to come back to work at the Christ Hospital, where she feels like she is at home. Carly enjoys seeing patients of all ages. She loves learning new things and connecting with patients on a personal level to help them through their health needs. Her experience working in the ER has prepared her to look for the unexpected. Carly enjoys reading, traveling, playing sand volleyball, spending time with family and friends. She stays busy with her husband and three young children, who always keep her on her toes as a full-time working mom, but they are also the driving force behind learning and growing as a Nurse Practitioner. She hopes to be a role model to her kids to be kind and help others when you can.
