Devin S. McCarty, CNP

Devin McCarty, MSN, FNP, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with The Christ Hospital Physicians - Primary Care, who provides care for patients of all ages.

Devin has always had an ambition for helping others, which is why she was driven to pursue a career in medicine. Nothing is more rewarding than the ability to aid someone in improving their health and overall well-being, she says. She adds that receiving a simple thank you from a patient and knowing that she has made a difference keeps her motivated to provide the best care possible.

Her approach to providing care focuses on treating each patient as if they were a close friend or family member. She acknowledges that each patient has a unique situation and strives to provide the care that is right for them while educating them on ways they can take control of improving their own health. She also urges her patients be their own advocate and keep an open line of communication with their providers to ensure their best outcomes.

Devin earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing as well as a Master of Science in Nursing from Northern Kentucky University. She is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

She is a native of Northern Kentucky, where she works and continues to live with her husband and her children. She enjoys cooking, running, enjoying the outdoors and spending quality time with her family.
