The Christ Hospital - Wound and Ostomy Care
Dr. Duke has practiced emergency and urgent care medicine in Cincinnati for more than 20 years. He is board-certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine. In addition to emergency medicine, he has an interest in wound care and practices with The Christ Hospital Wound Healing Center.
He received his medical degree from the University of Tennessee College of Medicine in Memphis, his hometown. He then completed an internship at Good Samaritan Hospital, and residencies in general surgery and emergency medicine at Wright State University Medical Center. He has been active in research for the National Science Foundation.
During training, Dr. Duke's research interests were diverse and ranged from the study of urologic applications for surgical glue to the impact of meteorologic trends in acute care medicine.
Dr. Duke has served as medical advisor for local EMS departments and organized emergency medical support for multiple local airshows. During the long austral winter of 2010 he was honored to serve the National Science Foundation as Lead Physician in support of South Pole and McMurdo Stations in Antarctica.
Dr. Duke's wife is a high school teacher. They have two daughters and a son. The family enjoys school and extracurricular sports, as well as the wide range of performance and visual arts available in Cincinnati.
