Elizabeth Peters, MD is a Cincinnati native who completed her undergraduate studies at Miami University of Ohio, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science. She earned her medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. During her time in medical school, Dr. Peters served as a mentor to an elementary student through the Cincinnati Youth Collaborative. She was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society, peer-awarded the Robert Swain Memorial Award, and earned the Ruth & Harry Stagaman Award for compassionate care. Dr. Peters then completed Family Medicine residency with the University of Cincinnati at The Christ Hospital, serving as Chief Resident in her final year. She was a recipient of the Marjorie Grad Vockell, MD, Humanism Award. During residency, she served as a Physician Advisor on the Christ Hospital Patient & Family Advisory Council and she continues to supervise Family Medicine residents in their residency clinic. During her free time, Dr. Peters enjoys cooking, traveling, and exploring new places in Cincinnati with her husband, family, and friends.
