Hira Majid, MD is a physician with The Christ Hospital Physicians – Primary Care who specializes in internal medicine. She provides care for patients 18 years and older at the Liberty Township location.
Dr. Majid was inspired to pursue a career in medicine by the mentorship she received from her own primary care doctor as she was growing up.
She provides compassionate, evidence-based, and patient-centered care. “That starts with listing carefully so I can fully understand your individual needs, values, and goals,” she says. She advocates for her patients to be proactive about all aspects of their health and to never hesitate to ask questions about their care. “I strive to create a welcoming environment where my patients can feel heard, respected, and comfortable to discuss their health concerns,” she says.
Dr. Majid earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Windsor and her Medical Degree from Dow University of Health Sciences. She completed an internal medicine residency at the Canton Medical Education Foundation, where she was awarded as Resident of the Month and earned the Excellence in Outpatient Medicine award.
In her free time, Dr. Majid enjoys reading, trying new cuisines, traveling, meeting new people, and learning about different cultures. She is also a fan of motorsports, especially MotoGP.
