Jeff Zaenger, FNP-BC, is a nurse practitioner with The Christ Hospital Physicians Primary Care. He has nearly a decade of experience caring for adult patients (18+) and seniors, including physical exams, wellness screenings, mental health, and management of chronic health conditions.
Jeff chose a career in nursing because of the endless opportunities to help others. I work my patients to find common ground on treatment options and how we can get them to their ideal state of health, Jeff says.
He enjoys working with patients to make healthy improvements to their daily routines, such as adding in more plant-based foods to their diets. Any time I can get patients off a medication or help them through a rough patch in their lives is a great accomplishment, Jeff says.
Jeff earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing and his Master of Science as a Family Nurse Practitioner from The Ohio State University. He served as a graduate teaching associate while earning his master's degree, teaching future nurses clinical care and how to apply evidence-based practice of care for patients and their families.
Outside of medicine, Jeff enjoys traveling with his family, running marathons, and exploring different types of cuisine.
