Jennifer Brown, FNP-BC is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with The Christ Hospital Urgent Care Center who cares for patients of all ages at the Red Bank, Green Township, and Fort Wright locations.
Jennifer was inspired to pursue a career in nursing by her aunt, who, like herself, began her career as an RN before earning a doctorate as a nurse practitioner. She takes a team approach with her patients when providing care. The patient and provider need to be on the same page for care to be appropriate and successful, she says. To achieve that goal, she actively listens to her patients to develop a plan of care that is right for them and their situation.
She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Northern Kentucky University and Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Indiana Wesleyan University. She received her certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the American Nurses Credentialling Center.
When not providing care, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her husband and children. She also loves to travel, especially to beaches.
