Joe Hughes, MSN, AGACNP-BC, is an adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner. He specializes in heart failure and transplant cardiology with The Christ Hospital Physicians Heart & Vascular.
Hughes says it is a privilege to be trusted to care for patients. His care philosophy is to treat others with the utmost respect, care, and attention. Hughes says he values the opportunity to collaborate with a world -class team that provides the best of patient care.
He holds an Associate Degree in nursing from Jefferson State Community College, a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Jacksonville State University, and a Master of Science in nursing from Northern Kentucky University. He is also a trained paramedic and flight nurse.
In his free time, Hughes enjoys woodworking and camping with his wife and four children.
