Mehmet Yildiz, MD is a board-certified physician with The Christ Hospital Physicians – Heart & Vascular who specializes in cardiovascular disease. He provides inpatient and outpatient care at the Mt. Auburn and Liberty Township locations.
Dr. Yildiz believes that cardiovascular health begins with prevention, and he approaches care with a goal to empower his patients by giving them the knowledge and tools they need to protect their heart before issues arise, or to help them best manage complex heart conditions.
“The best care is rooted in a personalized approach built on a strong foundation of evidence-based medicine and utilizing shared decision-making to ensure we navigate this journey as a team,” he says.
Dr. Yildiz earned his Medical Degree from the Marmara University School of Medicine, Istanbul, Turkey. He completed a residency in internal medicine at the Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital where he served as Chief Resident, and a fellowship in cardiology at The Christ Hospital where he served as Chief Fellow. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
When not providing care, he values spending time with his wife, who is also a physician, and their children. They enjoy hiking and exploring beautiful parks.
