Michael K. Heile, MD

Dr. Heile is a board-certified Family Physician who received his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. He completed a Family Practice Residency at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Northern Kentucky and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. He has practiced on the west side of Cincinnati since 1997 and started a support group for type 1 diabetics one year later. Dr. Heile is nationally published in several periodicals and is an Associate Editor of the American Diabetes Association (ADA) Clinical Diabetes Journal. He is passionate about both medical and patient education, contributing to a long list of professional lectures. Dr. Heile is an exercise enthusiast and enjoys writing, recording, and performing music at local venues and festivals. He has performed at fundraising events for ADA, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF), and other diabetes events.
