Dr. Oehler is a very good communicator which includes listening.
When it was determined that I had Cellulitis, I asked the Dr. What would cause that to make my leg swell to twice its size? His response was, " we're not going to worry about that today, we're just going to take care of getting rid of it. [...] I thought that he should have given me a response to my question. It's my body, I would like to know what I did to cause it, and not just get blown off by someone that didn't want to take the time to discuss MY problem.
Dr. Oheler is a great physician, so good in fact, I have requested that he become my Primary Physician moving forward.
When trying to understand why he only planned to address the muscle spasms and not the increased inflammation in my body from the car accident he simply just kept saying you have the medicines I would prescribe without telling me that if you are taking x then let's switch to y we will add this and then let me know how things go. I had to google and Ai it when I got home. This guy is not a good fit at all for anyone who has complex medical problems...I kept having to ask questions and he kept giving me the same answer.
I know my body, and I've been through skin rashes before and I requested a Z-Pak and he chose not to give it to me
