Senan J. Yasar, MD

Dr. Sanan Yasar is a non-invasive cardiologist and new addition to the Christ Hospital Health Network Heart & Vascular Team. He was born and raised in Columbia, Missouri. He completed his B.A. in Biology at the University of Missouri - Kansas City. He received his medical degree from Poznan University of Medical Sciences in Poznan, Poland. He then completed his Internal Medicine internship and residency at the University of Missouri. He then stayed for an additional three years at the University of Missouri to complete his Fellowship in Cardiovascular Medicine. Throughout his career, he has authored numerous abstracts, publications, and presented at multiple regional and national meetings. He has successfully passed the board examination in echocardiography. Dr. Yasar is known for his attention to detail and love for learning. His patients trust and respect him, as do his colleagues. In his free time, Dr. Yasar enjoys numerous outdoor activities, including soccer, tennis, and running. He enjoys spending time with his friends and family both in the United States and Turkey. He believes that the secret to lifelong health includes eating diversely, exercise, consistent sleep, and having healthy, strong relationships with others.
