Tanvi V. Joshi, MD

Tanvi V. Joshi, MD, is a fellowship-trained gynecologic oncologist who specializes in comprehensive surgical and medical care for patients with gynecologic malignancies. She is trained in both minimally invasive techniques and advanced debulking surgeries essential for cancer treatment. Along with surgery, Dr. Joshi offers systemic therapy, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted treatments. Dr. Joshi believes in leading with empathy, focusing on understanding each patient’s individual case, while working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcome.

“Cancer care is more than just medicine – it’s about standing with someone through one of the hardest times in her life,” says Dr. Joshi. She is passionate about improving healthcare access and reducing inequities within underserved communities.

Dr. Joshi earned her Medical Degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine. She completed a residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Jefferson Abington Hospital, and a fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology at the University of South Alabama Health Mitchell Cancer Institute. She is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology.

When she’s not in the office, Dr. Joshi can be found on the pickleball court, playing with her rescue dog, and spending time with her family.
