Zachary J. Plummer, MD

Zachary J. Plummer, MD, is a neurosurgeon specializing in complex spinal disorders and minimally invasive spine surgery.

Dr. Plummer treats the full spectrum of spinal disorders with particular expertise in spinal deformity, scoliosis, revision spine surgery, degenerative spine conditions, sacroiliac joint fusion, spine tumors, spine trauma and Chiari malformation. He also has a special interest in global health.

Dr. Plummer earned his medical degree from Indiana University. He completed a residency in neurosurgery and a fellowship in complex spine surgery at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. His education and training include experience on medical mission trips to Mongolia, Nepal and Tanzania.

Dr. Plummer is board eligible with the American Board of Neurological Surgeons. He is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, Congress of Neurological Surgeons and AO Spine North America.
