  • When scheduling your appointment, please ensure the phone number you enter is accurate. We will call you to confirm your appointment. If we're unable to contact you, we will cancel your appointment so that we may accommodate other patients.

  • The Christ Hospital Physicians accepts most major insurance plans, however if the provider is not in your plan, you may be responsible for the total cost of your care.  Please check with your insurance carrier for coverage limitations prior to scheduling your appointment.

  • If you're seeking a new physician for pain-related conditions or controlled substance prescriptions (such as opioids, anxiety medications, sleep aids, etc.), these may not be services we provide. Pain management physicians are better suited to treat chronic pain conditions. Please contact your insurance company for information on these providers.

FAQs

Do all primary care providers offer online scheduling?

No. Online scheduling and certain visit types may not be available for every primary care provider. If online scheduling is not available for your primary care provider, the scheduling tool will direct you to call their office to schedule your appointment.

What is the difference between a New Patient Visit and scheduling as a Current Patient?

A New Patient Visit lets the primary care office know they are welcoming a new patient to the practice. These visits may last longer than a typical office visit as your provider learns about your medical history and health goals.

If you are new to The Christ Hospital Health Network, you will be able to add your insurance and other information through the online scheduling tool. If you have been seen by another provider with The Christ Hospital, your most recent health and insurance information will be available through your patient portal.

Scheduling as a Current Patient will give you additional options to select the reason for your visit, such as:

  • sick visits

  • annual physical or wellness screening

  • office visits for managing long-term health issues

  • video visits.

What is a Video Sick Visit?

A video sick visit is a two-way video call with a primary care provider for short-term illnesses such as sore throat, ear infections, coughs, colds, diarrhea, vomiting, flu-like symptoms, minor eye problems, rash, and urinary tract infections. Video visits are currently offered at select locations only.
