Compensation & Benefits
We believe that taking care of our residents means supporting them beyond the clinical environment. That's why we offer competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package designed to give you financial stability and peace of mind throughout your training.
2025-2026 Compensation
Residents receive the following annual salaries: $67,143 for first-year residents, $68,766 for second-year residents, and $70,457 for third-year residents.
2025-2026 Benefits
You'll receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical insurance with your premium fully covered and family coverage available; dental and vision coverage through Dental Care-Plus; life insurance paid at two times your annual base salary with options to purchase supplemental coverage; and professional liability insurance for all activities within the scope of your assigned program. You'll also have access to Social Security and the option to make voluntary pre-tax contributions to a 403(b) retirement plan, along with 25 days of paid time off and maternity leave in compliance with the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA).
Resident-Specific Benefits
A few additional benefits are designed specifically with residents in mind. You'll receive an educational stipend — $500 for first-year residents, $1,000 for second-year residents, and $2,000 for third-year residents — to put toward journal subscriptions, medical texts, software, or approved continuing medical education (CME) conferences. Exam leave is available for first-time ABMS or USMLE licensing exams with proper notice, and you won't be on call the evening before your exam. You'll also receive white coats and a fleece in your first year, with additional coats in years two and three, plus free parking in a covered garage.
