Overview
Our one-year, non-ACGME accredited fellowship provides advanced and specialized training in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of cardiovascular disease in women. Program objectives include:
- To provide focused clinical training in the comprehensive cardiovascular care of women across their lifespan.
- To provide clinical and translational research skills in sex-specific cardiovascular disease.
- To develop and train leaders to advance the cardiovascular health of women through evidence-based care, research, education, and advocacy.
Applicants must have obtained a medical degree and completed an internal medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, or family medicine residency prior to commencement of this fellowship. Completion of a general cardiology fellowship is not a prerequisite. One fellowship position is available each academic year.

We are based at our hospital in Mt. Auburn, just three miles from the heart of downtown Cincinnati.
