Requesting Patient Information By Phone

Information about patients can not be given out over the phone by hospital operators. Operators will connect callers to patient rooms, but can not provide additional information such as condition or treatment.

For privacy and safety, operators will not give out patient room numbers by phone. If the patient has opted out of the facility directory, no information can be provided, even to family members.  To reach an operator, call 513-585-2000.

Additional information about diagnosis and treatment can only be provided to those who the patient has designated to receive it. If you have been designated to receive health information about a patient, please ask the hospital operator to connect you to the staff taking care of the patient. Our physicians and employees strictly observe each patient’s right to privacy and will protect the confidentiality of disclosure and medical records.
