The Christ Hospital Health Network Acquires Leader in Integrative Medicine

Partnership with Alliance Integrative Medicine Expands Network in Growing Fields of Functional and Integrative Medicine

CINCINNATI (JUNE 9, 2022) – The Christ Hospital Health Network has acquired Alliance Integrative Medicine (AIM), a prominent integrative medicine practice led by renowned physicians Steve and Sandi Amoils, MDs. These expanded services will allow the network to meet patients in every point of their journey, from proactive health and wellness to acute care.

AIM examines why symptoms manifest and looks to identify the root cause behind them. Many patients use AIM as a complement to traditional care. Doctors Steve and Sandi Amoils are conventional medical providers who spent years traveling the world to train in integrative and holistic techniques that achieve results.

“AIM has created a progressive approach to healing and wellbeing,” said Debbie Hayes, President and CEO of The Christ Hospital Health Network. “There is an ever-increasing request by our patients for proactive wellness resources and alternative treatment therapies. As a healthcare system, we are evolving to provide those resources so that patients have many options on how they choose to approach managing their health.”

Alliance Integrative Medicine combines conventional healthcare, functional medicine and alternate therapies such as acupuncture, chiropractic care, and medical massage to combat common issues such as stress, pain, chronic fatigue, allergies and digestive disorders. Today, the team includes six physicians, four chiropractors, two dietitians, a health coach, massage therapists and other providers.

“We are thrilled to join the Christ Hospital Health Network, the top healthcare provider in the region. Their mission to improve the health of the community completely aligns with ours and now we can do that together, with continuity of care through holistic offerings from prevention to acute care- to meet every kind of patient preference and need,” said Steve Amoils, MD. “By providing more choices, we can better serve those looking to improve their overall health and wellbeing.”

Alliance Integrative Medicine will remain in their Kenwood location at 6400 E. Galbraith Road with plans to also deploy providers to The Christ Hospital Ambulatory Centers within a year.
