CINCINNATI (April 8, 2025) – The Christ Hospital Health Network is now offering $75 heart screenings through its new Mobile Heart Health Unit. The vehicle will deliver exceptional care at six of our ambulatory outpatient centers throughout Greater Cincinnati. The Christ Hospital Health Network will hold a press conference and tour of the Mobile Heart Health Unit on Wednesday, April 9 at 2:30 p.m. at the Wyler Corporate Office located at 401 Milford Pkwy A in Milford, Ohio.
The new Mobile Heart Health Unit is made possible through a generous donation to The Christ Hospital Foundation from the Wyler Family Foundation and the Wyler Automotive Family. The unit is 40 feet in length with a central workroom and two exam rooms. Staff can perform a total of 26 patient screenings a day. Patients will be able to schedule an appointment through MyChart or by calling (513) 585-2668.
“The Mobile Heart Health Unit is a powerful example of our commitment to expanding access to care throughout the region,” said Debbie Hayes, President and CEO of The Christ Hospital Health Network. “Our goal is to bring the region’s #1 hospital directly into communities that may otherwise lack access to the exceptional, world-class care our clinicians provide every day. By meeting people where they are, we are helping more patients take charge of their heart health before serious problems arise. We are grateful to the Wyler Family Foundation and the Wyler Automotive Family for this generous donation.”
Patients eligible for a screening are over 60 years-old or 50 and over with one of the following risk factors:
•High Cholesterol
•High Blood Pressure
•Diabetes
•Smoker
•Family history of vascular disease including stroke, heart attack, sudden cardiac death or abdominal aortic aneurysms.
“It is a privilege for us to give back to our community by partnering with The Christ Hospital Health Network,” said Jeff Wyler of the Wyler Family Foundation. “This mobile heart unit offers inexpensive, high quality heart care for everyone. Heart attacks don’t happen overnight and screenings like this can save lives if heart disease is caught early on.”
“The Mobile Heart Health Unit will allow us to provide early detection, education and clinical services where they’re needed most, helping us to identify heart disease earlier and guide patients to the right care, at the right time,” said Dean Kereiakes, MD, FACC, MSCAI, Chairman of The Christ Hospital Heart and Vascular Institute. “Thanks to the vision and leadership of the Wyler family, this mobile unit will enable us to serve both rural and urban communities across the region, increase our efficiency and shorten delays in providing potentially life-saving screening results along with better outcomes for patients.”
Screenings can detect heart disease risk, Afib, stroke risk and more. Patients will be able to schedule a screening by calling (513) 585-2668 or by going online at TheChristHospital.com/heartscreening.
