Christopher Paprzycki, MD, to be Honored at 168th Annual Meeting in May

CINCINNATI (April 21, 2025) – Christopher Paprzycki, MD, physician at The Christ Hospital Health Network has been named President of the Academy of Medicine of Cincinnati. Dr. Paprzycki will be honored at the 168th annual meeting on May 20.

Dr. Paprzycki is a board-certified vascular surgeon with The Christ Hospital Heart & Vascular Institute since 2017 while also volunteer teaching faculty at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. He specializes in the minimally invasive treatment of arterial and venous disease and has led the way in several clinical research trials focusing on vascular health.

"It is an honor to be named the next president of The Academy of Medicine of Cincinnati," said Dr. Paprzycki. “I look forward to creating better health outcomes for the Greater Cincinnati region by empowering physicians across all specialties within our region. During my time as president, I will continue to advocate, support and connect our members while enhancing the health and well-being of our community. The Academy of Medicine of Cincinnati was founded in 1857 and is a not-for-profit, professional association for physicians who practice or live in Hamilton County. The group works tirelessly to promote preventive care, advance medical research, and address healthcare disparities to ensure equitable access to quality healthcare for all members of our community.

Dr. Paprzycki received his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Toledo and completed his integrated vascular surgery residency at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati. He’s also a member of both the American Medical Association as well as the Ohio State Medical Association.
