Surgeons Begin Seeing Patients in September

CINCINNATI (September 4, 2025) – Two orthopedic surgeons will join The Christ Hospital Health Network in September. Matthew Mangini, MD, orthopedic surgeon, began on September 1 and Eric Jiang, MD, hand surgeon, will begin seeing patients on September 15.

Dr. Mangini received his bachelor’s degree in anthropology/biology at Washington University in St. Louis, Mo. He then completed his medical degree at Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine in Dayton, Ohio. He finished his residency at San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium and his fellowship in Adult Reconstruction at Rush University in Chicago. Along with his medical education, Dr. Mangini was a Major in the United States Army, where he performed emergency procedures for battlefield injuries

Dr. Jiang earned his Bachelor of Science in molecular genetics at The Ohio State University and completed his medical degree at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. He completed his fellowship in hand and microsurgery at Barnes-Jewish Hospital at Washington University in St. Louis, Mo. Prior to that, he finished his residency at Henry Ford Health in Detroit, Mich.
