The Christ Hospital Health Network Named to Newsweek’s Best In-State Hospitals 2026 List

America’s Best-In-State Hospitals 2026 Ranks the Nation’s 800 Leading Hospitals

CINCINNATI (October 22, 2025) – The Christ Hospital Health Network has been named to Newsweek’s Best-In-State Hospitals list for 2026. The Christ Hospital was ranked 1st in Cincinnati and 4th in the state of Ohio. This prestigious award is presented by Newsweek and Statista Inc., the world-leading statistics portal and industry ranking provider. The complete list, as well as methodology, can be viewed on Newsweek’s website here.

“Awards like this are a reminder of the work that our entire team embarks on every day to make certain that The Christ Hospital Health Network is the destination for this region to receive care that ensures our patients have exceptional outcomes for themselves and their families,” said Debbie Hayes, President & CEO of The Christ Hospital Health Network. “We are committed to keeping our promise to this community and pursuing excellence in everything that we do so that anyone that we care for can be assured that they are receiving worldclass care each and every day.”

Hospitals from all U.S. states were eligible to be considered for the ranking and included in the nationwide survey. General hospitals with a capacity of 50+ beds were eligible for the analysis. The underlying data analysis is based on four data pillars:

•Hospital Reputation: From July to August 2025, a nationwide online survey among medical professionals (doctors, hospital managers and healthcare workers) was conducted in cooperation with Newsweek.

•Hospital Quality Metrics: Quality metrics data from the CMS, performance benchmark data from Medicare fee for service claims sourced from Arcadia, data from the American Hospital Association (AHA) Annual Survey of Hospitals Database, and Accreditation data from various sources are considered.

•Patient Experience: Data from The Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) survey: a standardized survey of hospital patients in the U.S. regarding their experiences during a recent procedure or surgery.

•Statista PROMs Implementation Survey: To account for the increasing importance of Patient Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs), hospitals which participated in the Statista PROMs implementation survey received a PROMs implementation score.

The Christ Hospital Health Network was also named to Newsweek’s World’s Best Hospitals 2025, America’s Best Maternity Hospitals 2025 and U.S. News & World Report’s Best Hospital in Cincinnati for the 11th consecutive year.
