Dr. Cafardi received his BSc in chemical engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Baptist Health System in Birmingham, AL and his fellowship in infectious diseases at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. He also served as a clinical instructor at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine.
Dr. Cafardi is a member of the American College of Physicians and a member in training with the Infectious Diseases Society of America.

Did not follow up regularly to confirm how treatment was going. Failed to check labs regularly. Hard to get ahold of. Approved prescription by mistake.
