Dr. Haggerty's areas of specialty include thyroid disorders and cancer as well as diabetes and endocrine disorders. She is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Dr. Haggerty completed her medical degree at the University of Kentucky with high distinctions and received numerous academic scholarships throughout her residency and endocrinology fellowship at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine (University Hospital).
Prior to joining The Christ Hospital, Dr. Haggerty conducted nationally recognized research through the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, Division of Endocrinology, specifically related to A1C levels of people with diabetes and pre-diabetes and others related to thyroid disease.
