Screening
Catching head and neck cancer early can improve your treatment and long-term outcomes. That’s why it’s important to see your primary care doctor or an ear, nose and throat (ENT) specialist right away if you notice any of these signs:
- A lump in your neck
- Bleeding in your mouth
- Chronic sinus infections that don’t go away, even after antibiotic treatment
- Painful swallowing
- Red or white patches on your gums
- Swelling in your lower jaw
