We understand the importance of family and friends in the healing process. That’s why we have eliminated visiting hours in most areas of the hospital. Time with family and visitors is considered to be part of a patient’s therapy, and is welcomed and encouraged.
If you have a private room, your family is welcome to spend the night. In most cases, visitors are only limited at the patient’s request. We will make every effort to provide sleeping accommodations. Please ask the unit manager how we can help. If you prefer a hotel, there are many options close to the hospital.
For patients in semi-private rooms, we ask that guests end visits by 10 p.m.
For patients on the behavioral health unit, we ask guests to observe the following visiting hours:
Monday – Saturday, 4:30 - 8 p.m.
Sundays & Holidays, 10 a.m. - 8 p.m.
Other visiting restrictions may apply for safety reasons when a patient is in isolation; by physician order; or to meet the recommendations of the Cincinnati Health Department.
