Health Records on iPhone Now Available to The Christ Hospital Health Network’s Patients

The Christ Hospital Health Network offers a simple and secure way to access your medical data

The Christ Hospital Health Network now supports Health Records on iPhone, which brings together hospitals, doctors’ offices and the existing Apple Health app to make it easy for patients to see their available medical data from multiple providers whenever they choose.

“We’re proud to support Health Records on iPhone, as our patients can now view important data such as allergies, conditions, immunizations, lab results, medications, procedures and vitals right in the Apple Health app. They’ll also receive notifications when their data is updated,” said Carlos Aguilar, Chief Medical Information Officer, The Christ Hospital Health Network. “It’s easier than ever for them to visualize and securely store their health records, as well as aggregate them alongside their patient-generated data, creating a more holistic view of their health.”

Previously, patients’ medical records were held in multiple locations, requiring patients to log into each care provider’s website and piece together the information manually. Apple worked with the healthcare community to take a consumer-friendly approach and created Health Records.

“In today’s ever-evolving and complex healthcare landscape, leveraging features like Health Records on iPhone is more important than ever before, allowing us to continue our focus on a positive patient experience throughout every point of the care - innovating and transforming the way healthcare is delivered,” said Kirk Ball, Chief Information Officer, The Christ Hospital Health Network.

Health Records data is encrypted and protected with the user’s iPhone passcode, Touch ID or Face ID.
