CINCINNATI (January 31, 2026) - The Women in Medicine group of The Christ Hospital Health Network host its annual event for students at DePaul Cristo Rey High School, Summit Country Day Academy, Mount Notre Dame High School, and Seven Hills Academy.
The program was designed to as an annual community outreach program designed to educate local high school girls about the medical field and encourage them to seek career paths in medicine. The focus for students is to explore what it’s like to be a physician and the various specialty options available.
The event allowed students to spend time with female physicians in internal medicine, cardiology, OB/GYN, anesthesiology, surgery and more. The students heard first-hand from our providers about their careers and why they chose healthcare as a profession. Each speaker had hands-on demonstrations including how to use various instruments and technology. The event supports The Christ Hospital Health Network’s mission of improving the health of our community and transforming the way care is delivered.
