Jessica Nurre, CNP, is a certified nurse practitioner with The Christ Hospital Physicians – Pulmonary Medicine. Her areas of interest include asthma, lung disease, pulmonary fibrosis, and sleep medicine.
Jessica started her nursing career with The Christ Hospital providing patient care in the Medical Intensive Care Unit, all while advancing her education. She says a career in medicine must be part of the family DNA. Her dad is a rheumatologist and her mother a nurse – with her sisters and brother also pursing careers in medicine as well.
Jessica earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at The Christ College of Nursing and Health Sciences and a Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Cincinnati College of Nursing, with a focus on adult-gerontology acute care. She is board certified as an acute care nurse practitioner by the American Nurse Credentialing Center and a member of the American Academy of Neurology and the Neurocritical Care Society.
Outside of medicine, she is a busy mom of two boys. She and her family enjoy hiking, traveling, and cheering the Ohio State Buckeyes during college football season.
