The Christ Hospital Heart & Vascular Team is pleased to announce the addition of Hassan Hamed, MD, Interventional Cardiologist, who joins The Christ Hospital Health Network as Medical Director, onsite, at Clinton Memorial’s cardiac catheterization laboratory.

Board certified in Interventional Cardiology, Dr. Hamed completed fellowships in Cardiology at Howard University, Washington, D.C. and in Interventional Cardiology at Albert Einstein Medical Center, Philadelphia. He is experienced in multiple cardiac disciplines. “I am delighted with the position and with an opportunity to offer localized cardiac care to the people in Clinton County,” says Dr. Hamed. “Clinton Memorial supports a large community and I look forward to attending to their needs.”

Dr. Hamed will work closely with physician and general cardiologist, Christopher M. Wright, MD, MBA, FACC, who has worked for Clinton Memorial since 2013. “There is a lot of enthusiasm on both sides,” says Dr. Wright. “This is a partnership of coordination for virtually every step of the patient’s experience and the whole process is reviewed and enhanced on a real-time basis to provide the highest quality of care.”
