Allison Ramke, MSN, CNM, is a certified nurse midwife with The Christ Hospital Physicians – Obstetrics & Gynecology. She has specialized in women’s health since 2015, including labor and delivery, family planning, sexual health, and well women care.
“Regardless of where you are in your life, a midwife can help,” Allison explains. “My desire is to create an atmosphere of shared decision making where I can be sensitive to your cultural, sexual or generational differences and provide you with the information needed to strive toward optimal health.”
Allison chose a career in midwifery after delivering her third child. “The experience I had throughout my pregnancy left me with a feeling that I was called to enter the healthcare field,” Allison says. “Guiding women through momentous events and creating positive experiences for them is one of the reasons why I became a midwife.”
Allison earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The Christ College of Nursing and Health Sciences and a Master of Science in Nursing – Certified Nurse Midwifery from the University of Cincinnati. She is a member of the American College of Nurse Midwives.
Outside of medicine, Allison and her family love to visit National Parks, hiking, fishing, and canoeing. She also enjoys reading, baking, and quiet time doing a puzzle.
