Megan Nix, APRN-CNP, AGPC-BC is a board-certified nurse practitioner with The Christ Hospital Physicians – Hematology & Oncology who specializes in medical oncology. She provides care for patients at the Christ Hospital Cancer Center in Mt. Auburn and at the Anderson and Red Bank locations.
Megan was inspired to pursue a career in medicine by a deep passion for caring for others. “Supporting others through challenging times, family or not, has always been a passion of mine,” she says. “Everyone can use a bit of grace and understanding when facing difficult situations.” She encourages her patients to give themselves the same grace when it comes to taking care of themselves. “We all have bad days,” she says. “Nobody can be perfect 100 percent of the time.”
When providing care, Megan puts a strong focus on empathy and active listening, and she believes everybody should feel seen and heard when it comes to their health and wellbeing.
Megan earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science in Nursing as an Adult and Geriatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner from the University of Cincinnati. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
In her free time, she enjoys cycling and spending time with her husband and children.
