Dr. Carson earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Ohio and then completed an internship in medicine and surgery at Thomas Jefferson University Albert Einstein Medical Center is Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. Carson went on to complete his residency in anesthesiology at Yale University School of Medicine in New Haven, Conneticut where he was chief resident for one year.

Dr. Carson joined AAC in 2006. He is the anesthesia director of The Christ Hospital Spine Surgery Center.

Dr. Carson is board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology and is a member of the national, state and local societies of anesthesiologists.
