About Robert A. Pelberg, MD

Dr. Pelberg specializes in general cardiology, preventive cardiology and cardiac imaging; including cardiac CT angiography and calcium scoring, nuclear cardiology and echocardiography. He is board certified in cardiovascular diseases, cardiac CT angiography, nuclear cardiology and echocardiography. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, the American Heart Association, the American Society of Echocardiography, the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology and the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography. He is one of the very few physicians in the United States trained to level III in cardiac CT angiography.

Dr. Pelberg is highly regarded in his field having been selected many times to the Who's Who Among Executivies and Professionals in the Field of Research, Medicine and Healthcare and to the Top Physicians in Cincinnati 2016 as listed in the Cincinnati Business Enquirer. He has authored and co-authored several books including The Cardiac CT Angiography Manual first and second editions, the Vascular CT Angiography Manual and the Cardiac CT Atlas of Adult Congenital Heart Disease. He has also authored many research papers in the field of cardiac CT and in several other cardiovascular disease areas.

To Dr. Pelberg, cardiology is the perfect mix of technology, procedural medicine and patient care. It is the kind of a field that allows a physician to build long-term relationships with patients. These relationships are the most rewarding aspects of his job. In his words, "I love the intellectual aspect of cardiology. I love the social aspect of cardiology. I love working with people and enjoy the satisfaction of watching my patients live longer and better lives."
