Dr. Terry O’Toole is a graduate of the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his Internal Medicine residency training at the University of Cincinnati. He continued his training at the University of Cincinnati, where he completed his Gastroenterology Fellowship. He is dually Board Certified in Internal Medicine and in Gastroenterology. Since joining Ohio GI, Dr. O’Toole has been a clinical investigator on a number of clinical research studies involving novel treatments for Crohn’s disease and Ulcerative Colitis. Dr. O’Toole has been voted by his medical peers as one of Cincinnati’s “Top Docs” in Cincinnati Magazine. Dr. O’Toole has been a guest lecturer at a number of conferences, including the Cincinnati chapter of the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America, and the annual Ohio GI clinical symposium. Dr. O’Toole was also a guest speaker on “Take Charge of Your Health” on Cincinnati’s 55KRC. Dr. O’Toole has a clinical interest in inflammatory bowel diseases, anorectal pathology such as hemorrhoids and fecal incontinence, management of dysplastic Barrett’s esophagus, functional GI disorders, GI dysmotility disorders, and colon cancer prevention.
