Dr. Schabell has more than 30 years of experience as a family medicine physician. She holds a bachelor's degree in biology from Northern Kentucky University and a medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. She completed an internship and residency in family medicine at St. Elizabeth Medical Center. She is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.
Before entering medical school, Dr. Schabell started her career as a registered nurse, receiving her nursing degree at Northern Kentucky University and working in the Newborn Intensive Care Unit at Good Samaritan Hospital.
Dr. Schabell is also a certified clinical densitometrist (densitometry is the measurement of bone mass).
