The CME Application Process for Jointly Provided Activities

  • All CME activities must be planned and implemented in accordance with the ACCME's Essential Areas and their policies.

  • Educational activities wishing to offer AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(TM) must obtain prior approval from the CME Committee.

  • In order to obtain approval from the CME Committee, the Joint Provider must submit to the CME Committee a CME Activity Planning Form, a proposed budget, and a signed Joint Providership Agreement at least 60 days prior to the scheduled activity.

  • The CME Committee cannot guarantee approval and, therefore, the designation of AMA PRA Category 1 ​​Credit(TM) when applications are submitted after their 60 day due dates.
