Learning Objectives

After attending this event, attendees will be able to:

  1. Apply best practices to evaluate and manage cardiovascular diseases that are more prominent in females.

  2. Articulate the need for a multidisciplinary approach in the management of female patients.

  3. Recognize the importance of social determinants of health in the overall care of a patient.

  4. Assess medical and surgical treatments options for patients with heart failure.

  5. Accurately evaluate women presenting with chest pain. 

  6. Evaluate challenges female patients face regarding management of weight, lipids, diabetes, and menopause.
