Center for Advanced Practice | Advisory Council

Established in 2019, the Advanced Practice Providers' Advisory Council is comprised of both independently employed APPs and employed APPs of The Christ Hospital Health Network. The purpose of the Council is to provide a forum to discuss state and federal regulations pertaining to APP practice standards and develop recommendations to the Credentials Committee. The Council also has oversight to provide standardization on scope of practice rules in addition to reviewing delineation of privileges, focused professional practice evaluation (FPPE) and ongoing professional practice evaluation (OPPE) elements for updates and changes. The Council works directly with the medical staff leadership and Credentials Committee via the chair or designee.
