CINCINNATI ( August 14, 2024) - With the first day of classes for students at Cincinnati Public Schools on Wednesday, August 14, The Christ Hospital Health Network decided to pitch in and give kids a head start on the school year.
Team members at The Christ Hospital Health Network and our local community held a school supply drive to support all 260 students at William H. Taft Elementary. When students arrive at school, they’ll receive pencils, scissors, paper, folders, glue sticks, crayons, notebooks and more. Members of The Christ Hospital Health Network’s nursing team dropped off the supplies in time for the first day of school. Additional supplies were given to teachers to keep them on hand for needs throughout the school year.
The Christ Hospital Health Network has a long-storied partnership with Taft Elementary donating cereal for children to take home over the winter break. In 2023, team members donated more than 1,200 boxes of cereal for their students.
