Katherine Johnson, MD, earned her bachelor degree in chemistry and psychology, graduating magna cum laude from Kalamazoo College. She then earned her medical degree from University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. She completed her family medicine residency at The Christ Hospital/University of Cincinnati Family Medicine Residency, where she served as Chief Resident.
During residency, Dr. Johnson was the site coordinator for Cradle Cincinnati, a collaborative working to reduce infant mortality in Cincinnati. She worked at McMicken Health Center on a nutrition resource guide for the community around the clinic. She has also volunteered in both Guatemala and Jamaica as part of a medical brigade.
She is board certified in family medicine with the American Board of Family Medicine. Her areas of interest include women’s health, adult and pediatric medicine, prenatal care, and preventative medicine.
