Financial Concerns of Cancer Treatment

​Join us at our free upcoming virtual expo as we address the financial burdens cause by cancer diagnosis and treatment.


The financial burden of cancer treatments effects patients during and after treatment. It can leave individuals and families with worry and stress. Experts in the financial aspects of cancer care will be presenting useful information to help with the financial burden. Each presenter will give a short presentation and be available for questions and answers.

9:10am to 9:50am - Kristina Wilber - Business Manager at The Christ Hospital

Kristina will explain the role of a Financial Advocate, how copay and grant programs work, deductible vs. out of pocket cost, and how to read a bill from The Christ Hospital with details on who to contact with questions and concerns. 


10:00am to 10:50am - Jennifer Crowell - Lead Financial Counselor at The Christ Hospital

Jennifer will address how to apply for Medicaid, The Christ Hospital financial programs available to you, and The Health Care Exchange.


11:00am to 12:00pm - Kelly Dragoo - Cincinnati Public Affairs Specialist at Social Security Administration

Kelly will explain the difference between Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) and how to apply for benefits.

Please RSVP before October 15th, 2020 in order to reserve your spot. Questions can be called in and submitted to the Cancer Center Support Services phone number prior to the expo to ensure they are answered during the session.
