Breastfeeding Support Groups

The Christ Hospital's breastfeeding support groups give new moms the opportunity share experiences and make friends. The support groups offer encouragement and education in all aspects of breastfeeding and its impact on daily life.

Each group is led by International Board Certified Lactation consultants who specialize in feeding infants. With their training and experience in helping breastfeeding mom and babies, you can discuss any concerns or questions you may have.

Whether you're a brand new mom or an experienced parent, many women have difficulty breastfeeding or just want an open and supportive environment to ask questions and meet other breastfeeding moms.

You are welcome to join our support groups anytime for as long as you need breastfeeding support. Some moms come regularly, others just come when they have a particular question or breastfeeding challenge.

Support groups are available at The Christ Hospital main campus in Mt. Auburn and The Christ Hospital Medical Center - Liberty Township. They are held at 10 a.m. on Tuesdays, alternating locations each week.

Breastfeeding support groups offer:

  • IBCLC support

  • Variety of educational topics discussed

  • Meet other mothers to share tips and socialize

  • Relaxed and fun atmosphere

  • Refreshments at every session

  • Mothers and infants welcome

  • Registration is not required, but is encouraged
