Dr. Mark Costello completed his undergraduate studies at Xavier University, where he graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Minor in Chemistry. He is a board-certified otolaryngologist who received his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. He completed an Otolaryngology Residency at the Medical University of South Carolina, which is consistently ranked in the top 15 in the country for Otolaryngology training.
Dr. Costello has been elected into the Gold Humanism Honor Society (GHHS) and Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He also holds professional memberships in the American Medical Association, American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy, and the International Surgical Sleep Society.
Dr. Costello enjoys golfing, hiking, kayaking, traveling, and cheering on The Ohio State University football and Cleveland professional sports teams. He also enjoys spending time with his Cincinnati-native wife, their son, and their two dogs.
