Cincinnati (August 1, 2016) – The Christ Hospital is pleased to welcome general surgeon, Thomas Husted, M.D. Dr. Husted is a practicing surgeon who specializes in several surgical treatments including: Surgical Critical Care, Liver and Pancreatic surgery, General and Laparoscopic surgery, Endocrine surgery and Robotic surgery.  He utilizes current minimally invasive techniques to provide excellent care for his patients.

 

Dr. Husted is a Michigan native and received his M.D. at Wayne State University School of Medicine. He then spent several years in the US Navy learning the important things they don’t teach in medical school - flying jets and SCUBA diving. After leaving active duty, Dr. Husted attended the University of Cincinnati where he completed his Residency and Fellowship in General Surgery.

 

Dr. Husted is very excited to be joining The Christ Hospital Physicians. Since adopting Cincinnati as his new hometown, Dr. Husted is a devoted Bengals fan. He enjoys being outdoors as much as possible - hiking, canoeing and traveling. Selected yearly as a Cincinnati Top Doc by Cincinnati Magazine - Dr. Husted has also received numerous other awards for medical excellence, patient satisfaction and teaching.
