The Christ Hospital Physicians – Primary Care is proud to welcome Toral Desai, MD. Dr. Desai is an Internal Medicine Physician who is accepting new patients beginning Monday, July 17, 2017, at 8041 Hosbrook Road, Suite 200, in Kenwood. She can be reached at 513-891-3664.

Dr. Desai specializes in Internal and Geriatric Medicine and is dual board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in both fields. She did her undergraduate work at University of Michigan majoring in Anthropology and Biology. She then received her medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine. Dr. Desai started her internship in Internal Medicine at NY Medical College and completed her residency at Detroit Medical Center where she went on to win the Best Ambulatory Care Resident Award. Finally she did a fellowship at Detroit Medical Center/Wayne State University in Geriatrics.

Dr. Desai is dedicated to patient care and a long-term healthy lifestyle. She grew up in the small town of Point Pleasant, WV and has drawn upon experiences from training all over the country including areas near Miami, New York, Detroit, Charlotte, and Atlanta. She has always loved the city but also loves the small town she grew up in. She is following in her father’s footsteps, as he is a retired Internist and Geriatrician as well and practiced in her hometown over 30 years. It has been Dr. Desai’s dream to continue that “small town” personal touch in the Cincinnati area. She is very happy to be able to give back to the community here. In her free time, she loves spending time with her husband and two daughters, playing tennis, traveling, watching movies, and being outdoors whenever possible.

Her areas of interest include adult care, cholesterol and diabetes management, exercise and wellness, geriatrics, hypertension, internal medicine, wellness and prevention.
