A long-standing Cincinnati museum recently expressed their gratitude to another iconic Cincinnati organization for keeping the community safe during the pandemic. The Taft Museum of Art, one of Cincinnati’s foundational arts institutions, thanked local healthcare workers by providing more than 200 free Family Level memberships to team members of The Christ Hospital; the generous donation equated to more than $17,000 with each family membership totaling $75 each.

“We are very grateful to the Taft Museum of Art for providing this exceptional gift to our employees,” said Debbie Hayes, Interim President and CEO of The Christ Hospital Health Network. “It means a great deal to us that a Cincinnati institution like the Taft wanted to share their museum’s gifts with us. Enabling our team members and families to enjoy the arts during these challenging times is most generous. We are grateful for their gift and for their community support.”

“The Taft Museum of Art is humbled to be a small part in honoring The Christ Hospital’s front-line workers who put their lives on the line each and every day to help keep our community healthy,” said Deborah Emont Scott, President and CEO of the Taft Museum of Art. “The pandemic has been difficult for healthcare workers, and the Taft wanted to show their appreciation. In these challenging times, we are thankful that the Taft can continue to be a safe place for them to find respite and solace and our dedication to this meaningful work will continue.”
